The Coming Storm
A DnD-inspired fantasy adventure novel about love, grief, guilt, politics, pirates, monsters, time loops, fate, mysteries, magic, and world-altering artifacts. This is the first book of what I anticipate being a trilogy. It's also my main project currently!
All Aesind wants is to cross the sea and start his new life in Emberglen. But the past has sharp claws, and it's not so easy to just walk away. He's already tangled up in the political scandal of the century with a hefty price on his head, and now, he has to contend with a mute runaway, a stubborn navigator, and a mysterious time-walker who simply will not leave him alone. It's do or die for more than just Aesind and his hopes for a fresh start as the world he thought he knew only gets stranger and stranger.
From forays into mysterious island towers to pirate politics to monsters lurking in dark corners, this one-way trip rapidly goes from bad to worse as Aesind's refusal to trust his newfound allies creates more problems than it solves.
Current Status: 85% written (first draft)
The Rising Tide
The tentatively-named second novel in the above-mentioned trilogy.
